CLEAR VIEW TECHNOLOGIES TO REVOLUTIONIZE
THE ECONOMICS OF BAR AND NIGHTCLUB OPERATIONS
San Jose, CA, February 9, 2010 Clear View Technologies™, Inc., an innovative developer of market-focused asset management and inventory control solutions, today announced its entry into the hospitality industry.
The alcohol beverage operations of nightclubs, bars, hotels, casinos and sports venues have historically suffered from inventory and margin loss far exceeding any other business sector. Studies have shown inventory losses up to $37 billion annually, with pouring costs averaging 25 percent across the industry, according to the National Restaurant Association. Clear View Technologies has developed a solution that will increase the value of the business and yield a return on investment many times over by immediately reducing losses due to theft, shrinkage, sales fraud and improper free-pour behavior, while reducing time spent on inventory.
Clear View Technologies’ management team has a unique grasp of the problems and opportunities inherent in the bar and nightclub marketplace. Leading the company as Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman is Paul Mula, II. Over the past 10 years, he has proven himself a dynamic entrepreneur, visionary, conceptualist and inventor.
To develop and execute his vision, Mula assembled a team of highly accomplished executives from leading technology, hospitality and financial management companies. The Clear View Technologies management team includes: Sherman W. Tom, chief operations officer; John C. Dong, chief financial officer and secretary; John L. Zevgolis, executive vice president of sales and marketing; and Rich N. Fall, executive vice president of engineering and technology.
“I saw an opportunity in the market to solve the current asset management and inventory control issues that have yet to be fulfilled, and assembled this team to develop a solution that combines the lowest total cost of ownership with the highest performance in the industry,” said Paul Mula, II, CEO and chairman of Clear View Technologies. “Our technology advances are a significant improvement over current offerings from our competitors, which will help bar and restaurant owners return more profits back into their businesses.”
To date Clear View Technologies has received a total of over $3 million in angel funding. Board members include industry veterans with deep technical, financial, legal and operational backgrounds.
